Center of Innovation in Engineering and Science Education (CIESE)

A pioneer in STEM education, CIESE has been developing innovative STEM curricula and providing professional development for K-12 teachers since 1988. It was at CIESE where the groundbreaking WaterBotics curriculum was developed. Used in traditional classroom settings and in after-school and summer camp programs (including one at Stevens), WaterBotics engages middle and high school students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, as they work together to prototype, design and program underwater robots, made of LEGO components.
