This three-story, 15,500-square foot building at the northern end of campus serves as an academic classroom and office building. Construction of this modern facility began in November 2016 and was completed in July 2017. This eight-month completion time, much faster than that of standard building, is due to the use of modular construction. This construction method uses prefabricated, factory-built building modules, which expedites the time needed for construction. The North Building represents the first-ever modular building on campus.
The facility currently houses the Department of Computer Science and the Maritime Security Center.
