The James C. Nicoll Environmental Laboratory
The James C. Nicoll Environmental Laboratory (JNEL) is one of the newest research facilities on the Stevens campus. Featuring state-of-the-art and multimedia capabilities for testing wastewater, liquid waste, solid waste and air quality. JNEL can handle research projects from short duration highly specialized testing experiments to long-term applied studies, and is also a resource center for waste treatment information. JNEL actively uses those resources to partner with industry, government and environmental service organizations to solve real-world environmental problems.
JNEL also houses faculty offices for the civil, environmental and ocean engineering department.
